Whirl Entertainment develops and produces original scripted and non-scripted content for broadcast and web.
Whirl Entertainment is dedicated to fostering creative collaboration while leveraging the latest technology to produce entertaining and informative content for television & web. The founders of Whirl bring to the table years of experience in the worlds of video and audio engineering, web development, technology, finance, business, and storytelling both in front of and behind the camera.
Some of our original productions include:
“Food for Thought: The story of what we eat” – From cacao farming in the jungles of Belize to cheese making in a small town in Italy, Food For Thought explores the history and science behind the foods we love.
“Astoria” – A comedy-drama series about young creative people trying to make it in NYC, well almost.
“The Science Behind” – From recording music to flying airplanes, famous and not-so-famous people explain the science behind their jobs.
“Curious Places” – A search for curious places with extraordinary claims to fame — to the highest, lowest, largest, furthest, most extreme and most unique places. It’s the ultimate road trip in an unpredictable pursuit of the most peculiar places in America.
